About EEA

EEA is Victorian based, its directors having 32 years of experience developing many of Australia's best trade shows. Our focus is on staging excellent exhibitions that meet our client's needs, both exhibitors and visitors.

EEA was established by Jane Ford, Managing Director, with Graeme Uthmeyer joining the business as an equal partner in July 2006.

Graeme founded Australian Trade Exhibitions Pty Ltd (ATE) in 1977, selling the business in 2000 to one of the world's largest organisers, DMG World Media (DMG). Graeme was also appointed Chairman of the Exhibitions and Events Association of Australia for two years in the late 1990's.

ATE employed 25 people and ran a portfolio of nine trade and public exhibitions. Notable events owned by ATE included Designex, an annual trade expo with 400 exhibitors attracting 20,000 visitors over three days; and the HIA Home Ideas Show, a home renovator's exhibition drawing 75,000 visitors over nine days.

Jane Ford has 12 years of event management experience, having been the Australasian Director of Trade Events for DMG before starting EEA. Prior to DMG, Jane worked at ATE. Jane's expertise is in growing and developing business exhibitions, her portfolio at DMG consisting of 14 shows with a turnover of $15 million pa. Strengthening each event with industry association support, several of the exhibitions under Jane's management co-located with an industry conference.

The very successful track record Jane and Graeme have in running events will ensure any venture taken on meets the needs of the industry and achieves the highest level of satisfaction and support possible.
